Some clothes and doll jewellery added to Etsy!

Today I finally took some time and listed the rest of the pendants on Etsy. I made them for LDoll but there still were several that were leftovers, and now there is good chance to get some if your doll wants a new something for spring! Most of the pendants are in MSD / SD size, but they are possible to shorten to YoSD size, too, and there are some already in small size left, for example this cute rocking horse, which is the last one of them; rest are cute, too.

Also I added some cute little skirts and sweaters in Irrealdoll Enyo size. They fit also on Pukifee / Lati Yellow, but may be a bit oversized looking. (Which is mostly just cute!) I have several balls of this yarn (in different shades too) so also custom orders are taken.

Freezing cold day

Ingrid (Irrealdoll Enyo) was exploring the snowy forest with me today. I´ve been knitting tiny little sweaters of multicolored yarn in last week, there are some in Enyo size going to be listed on Etsy soon.

Today was a wig-sewing day, and there will be many Littlefee and Pukifee wigs to be added to Etsy tomorrow or right after I get taken pics of them.

The sewn clothing are also getting on progress. Hopefully to get done already soon. :)

The January mohair order took six days to arrive (the best time so far), but the December´s order 30 days. Well, at least it arrived! I wonder if it was found because couple of days ago I left a notice of missing mail to Post Office or would it have arrived today anyway?

But, if you wish to have a custom order wig, here are the colours available in stock at the moment. All of them are quite small amount, enough for some petite or tiny wigs or one msd/sd sized. Ask by Etsy private message, Flickr mail or in DoA, HL or Dollhouse forum messages. :)

I have been quite frustrated while waiting the arrival of my mohair orders, as one package probably got lost in christmas mail rush, but luckily new order I made arrived yesterday and I´ve made a lot of custom wigs for the patient people in my waiting list. So, it´s no long time to wait anymore!

Some pieces I got this time were wonderfully long, maybe longest I´ve yet seen - this light auburn wig for Minifee came out lovely! Model is my sweet Filippa (Fairyland Minifee Chloe).

Now, keep an eye to my Etsy shop, if you´re intending to buy mohair wigs. There already are some, and will be more soon in next weeks! I ordered some nice fantasy colours too.

Happy New Year, all friends of mine! I hope you all had nice holidays! Tomorrow is first working day of 2012 and I´m preparing for it, but also sewing some orders I got while I was on short travel last week. It was so nice to have a little holiday myself, too. :)

While on holiday, I made a prototype of Enyo animal costume. It came out cute but needs some more work with the pattern. I like making wigs but would be so fun to get some new doll clothing to show you in this new year! So many plans and ideas, so little of time!

I wish you all as well as myself to have wonderful times with our favourite hobbies, friends and loved ones in this starting year. <3

Soft new scarf for myself!

All the autumn I´ve been making so much things for dolls or custom works, so I made also a nice and soft shawlette for myself. I went crazy in yarn shop in end of October and got lots of different colours of thin merino wool Malabrigo Lace. It was wonderful to knit and I´m sure it will be lovely to wear, it is so soft! And the ready scarf doesn´t really weight much, the skein of 50g was just enough to get it ready!

It was my second scarf "knitted in English" and much more complicated model, so I´m very happy with the result!

Tiny little Minni (Fairyland PukiPuki) models this nordic blond little wig. The Puki sized wigs should be fitting also Soom´s tiny fairies, even still I´m not having one to model myself.

Minni´s cute little knitwear outfit is made by MaramBanu. Just amazingly tiny and beautiful work, can fully recommend her!

Just couple of days left before holidays! Still so much to do, but I´m having a week off from work in between Xmas and New Year, and hopefully being able to relax and also make some fun ideas to become true.

Hello again,

I have added some new mohair wigs in Littlefee and Pukifee size to my Etsy. There is to be PukiPuki wigs next, just need to get pics taken! In this time of year it´s so dark that even daylight is not always enough, which is quite frustrating while trying to take good photos. I´m planning on making a lightbox to see if that helps.

Below is my pretty little Omeliina modelling a nordic blond wig. The cute outfit is made by talented MaramBanu.

There is also a new arrival in the house, a lovely little Irrealdoll Enyo, so if there are Enyo owners looking for mohair wigs or clothing, I´m very happy to make custom orders for them, even still there wouldn´t be stock available, as the doll is such rare one.

My Enyo´s name is Ingrid and she´s a girl with a lot of attitude! I must say I´m really fond of artist dolls at the moment. I´d love to try sculpting my own dolls some day - not in resin cast, but maybe polymer clay or paper clay? I just wish there would be more time to try out all the nice ideas!

There are already Littlefee wigs in several colours, and Littlefee dress & bolero sets, dresses, and reduced price in new and old knitwear!

Pukifee and PukiPuki wigs will be listed soon, and also there´s coming the rest of the doll jewellery left from the festival.

New items in my Etsy now are postcards and stickers of my doll photos! They´re just a test lot, so go pick your favourite before they´re gone. :)

Greetings from LDoll Festival

LDoll Festival is over, and such a wonderful event it was! I was happy to be able to attend there and meet all the nice people. My favourite thing was to meet the doll artists, talk with them and see their lovely creations.

This little cutie, Otherside Ibyangin made by Zun, arrived home with me. Her name is Molli, and here she is exploring her new homeland. I think she is such an adorable little doll!

She is about 31cm tall, wears 8/9" wig and is heavy to hold, in lovely way. I have made her face-up and clothing, wig and eyes are from Leeke.

Today I´ve been packing the ready products like these little woollen sweaters for Petite and Tiny dolls! There´s going to be lots of different things in affordable price. Our sales table is called Talent Collectible Finland and there´ll be lots of things for all sizes of dolls, from several craftsmakers. :)

I got a small lot of postcards of my own photos, to sell in LDoll Festival, along with doll clothing and jewellery. Behind there´s a disclaimer text telling that dolls are made by Fairyland.

Getting ready for LDoll...

Such a nice surprise, my photo got in the "Freedom" -themed photography contest in LDoll, the doll festival to be in few weeks in Lyon, France!

I took this pic in summer, just for the contest. It was quite a challenge to keep the doll safely in the floating boat, not to mention keeping my camera safe and dry when I was up to my bust in the lake myself! But I think the pics came out cute, it was hard to choose which one to become the contest entry. Omeliina was such a good girl and didn´t take a swim on this trip! :)

In my opinion, the very meaning of freedom is to be alone in middle of the nature, for example on the serene lake before the sunset, listening the quietness and your own thoughts, along with the voice of birds and nature itself. It gives a strong feeling of peace and happiness, which comes to my mind first when mentioning the word freedom. In Finland summer nights are long and light, also this pic was taken late at night, which you couldn´t see from the photo.

Sorry for the long silence, I´ve been busy with upcoming LDoll Festival sewing & knitting... Hoping to get there lots of things for sale. :)

Holiday is over and I´m back to business! Luckily summer will still continue for a while.

Menni is showing something she got as present for being patient little model for me. But it is not only one of it´s kind.

Can´t wait my holiday to start! And my little ones also got something interesting to show you - the adorablest little carrying case ever. It is originally a box for Moomin puzzles, but I gave the puzzles for the day care children to play and kept the box myself for my dolls. ^^ The pics on the cover are from one of my favourite children´s books "Who Will Comfort Toffle?" ("Kuka lohduttaisi Nyytiä" in Finnish) by Tove Jansson, 1960.

Spring is coming :)

In Eastern Finland, where I live, the long wintertime is finally passing and spring arriving! It´s beginning of May and almost all ice has gone from the lake, summer birds start arriving and every day feels longer than the previous one.

I love the time when the small leaves start to bloom on the trees and how suddenly it´s green everywhere. It´s not yet, but it´s very close, any day now. I´m sure that just a few warm sunny days and we got a real spring in here!

Menni got to see the lakeshore with me last weekend. I just love this place, the serene beauty of it.

Hi everyone,

spring arrives slowly even to my northern homeland Finland, and snow is melting day by day!

I´ve been busy with some custom works, but this time I got something done for myself, too. Winter is almost over, but it´s still cold, and I just finished a nice scarf of rich and luxurious Noro Yuzen yarn. I just love these colours!

It is Multnomah Shawl pattern by Kate Flagg in Ravelry, if you´re interested.

And I couldn´t stop myself in yarn shop last week, so maybe there is something else to knit more soon... :)

The year 2011 has started with lots of snow and cold temperature, at least here in Finland! I have been enjoying cosy days at home, but now it´s time to get more active after holidays.

So I started sewing, and now there´s also something new in my Etsy shop to see.

A trip to the lake

I took two dolls with me to the lakeside yesterday. Finally the spring - almost summer - seems to arrive here, too!
In Finland winter is so very dark, but when it´s summer, the sun hardly sets, even at night.

Lempi (Littlefee Leah) enjoyed exploring places, and tiny Karpalo (RealPuki Tyni) found a place in the mossy old stone fence where she seemed to belong to! I had great time, and feel so excited that now I´ll be able to take photos in nature more often!

Needle felting and elves

I was teaching needle felting to schoolkid groups, and took some of my dolls as prop for the forest of elves -theme. I like needle felting myself, too, and maybe there´ll be some of them in my Etsy soon, too. But these ones are made just for practise.

Menni and Eemu´s clothing is also made by me. Little flower fairy Nelma has got her little dress and hat as present.
